Necsi Kithul Treacle
100% pure, bottled kithul treacle made from the sustainably harvested sap of the kithul palm. It's thick, dark and slow-boiled the traditional way.
How it's made
Tappers collect the flower sap of the kithul palm (Caryota urens) in the hills around Badulla. It is boiled slowly over a low heat until thick, then bottled and tested in the laboratory for hygiene. No sugar or preservatives go in, just the sap.
